摘要

This study investigated the effects of two different structures of polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) on the laser welding performance of glass fiber reinforced PPS composites. The results showed that branched PPS significantly improved the transmittance of near-infrared light and enhanced the shear strength of the welded joint; the addition of glass fibers decreased the transmittance of the material and the shear strength of the welded joint.
